Lovelite - Nearness

 - San Diego, California - I saw the band Lovelite live a few weeks ago at a release party for their upcoming album, In Three Persons and was incredibly impressed. The instrumental diversity, rhythmic variety, and sheer expressiveness of the musicians captured my interest, and since In Three Persons is still a few weeks from release, I decided to check out their 2010 release Nearness. In this album, the band’s instrumentally diverse and dense style meets with some incredible mixing, resulting in an immersive short-length album experience with few missteps.
