- Urbino, Italy - Finding accommodation is always one of the main concerns for a traveler. The Internet has made everything simpler: you can arrange everything from home, take your time to search for advice online and find great deals. This is a great option when staying in one place for a few days, but when it comes to a road trip, booking from home is definitely a restriction: it means you have to follow a schedule each day, you can’t wander around and see where the trip takes you, but it definitely leaves you much more relaxed during the trip.
- Urbino, Italy - A foreign country can be explored in so many different ways. Visiting one of its cities can already tell you a lot about it, and you may also consider taking road trips by bus, or travelling by train while you're there - still, I think renting a car and driving around is the only way of really getting a complete, fulfilling view of it. As I found out, there's a lot of planning involved in a road trip, especially when it's your first time: you want everything to be perfect, and you absolutely want to avoid trouble.
- Urbino, Italy - Earlier this year, my boyfriend and I decided we would take a vacation at the end of summer. We are both travel lovers, and this time we really felt the need to just leave for a while after some pretty rough months. To this day, I still can't recall how Ireland became our destination. Choosing one, in fact, is usually a combination of numerous factors: a dream go-to place, budget, days available for travelling, and, last but not least, special offers. Over the years, we had the chance to visit beautiful places, but this time we were really excited by the idea of a road trip, so this was our number one priority. We had different options for this, starting with the idea of travelling with our own car, which proved to be a bad one. One day, one of us just said: "why don't we go to Ireland?", so we did. That's it.
